Christie Brown

Christie Brown was born in June 1932 to a family of Irish workers at Rotanda Hospital in Dublin.  After his birth,   doctors determined that the newborn had severe cerebral palsy. This is a neurological condition that causes    spasticity in all limbs.    Despite the medical advice to send the child to a rehab facility, Christie's parents chose not to pay attention and chose to raise the child alone with other children.    When Christie was a teenager, a social worker named Katriona Delahunt learned about her child and began visiting her family on a regular basis, bringing in new books and paints.  A few years later, Christie showed a keen interest in art and literature. Ellie Simmonds

  At just 13 years old, Ellie Simmonds became the second youngest Paralympic player in British history to win medals of all colors at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics.     The fact that she won two gold medals in her first game and followed her simple philosophy of "work hard and be yourself" won her the hearts of the British people.   Born December 4, 1982, Nicholas James Vujicic     is an Australian evangelist and a well-known motivated speaker born of Tetra-Amelia Syndrome, a rare symptom characterized by the lack of arms and legs.   Born with no arms or legs, Nick Buizic has faced the challenges of his life through the power and hope found in Almighty God.  Nick Buiditch was born without arms and legs. On the morning of his birth, his father was so stunned that he almost fainted. Nick's mother refused to see him or hug him for four months. Stephen Hawking was a British scientist, professor, and writer who did pioneering work in physics and cosmology and helped  make science available to everyone.    While studying cosmology at the University of Cambridge, he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) at the age of 21. Part of his life story is portrayed in the 2014 movie Theory of Everything.   Hawking was born on January 8, 1942 in Oxford, England. His birthday also celebrated the 300th anniversary of Galileo's death. This is the    source of long-standing pride for renowned physicists. When she was two, she suffered from illness, and Keller was  blind and deaf. From 1887, her teacher, Anne Sullivan, helped her improve her communication skills significantly, and Keller graduated from college in 1904. She received many honors throughout her life for her achievements .Keller was born on June 27, 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Keller was the first of two daughters born to Arthur H. Keller and Catherine Adam Skeller. Keller's father was an officer of the South Army during the Civil War. She also had two older brothers-in-law. Keller was born visually and audibly, and she started speaking at the age of six months. She started walking at the age of one.  Our second superhero is Rahma Khaled Hussein a 24 years-old young woman with Down syndrome. She is the first broadcaster with Down syndrome, it’s a dream that she pursued since she was eight. Rahma is also an Egyptian swimmer and a Paralympic champion in basketball and tennis, and swimming, she studied at Al-Alsun school for tourism and hotels.  Rahma had her first championship in 2009 when she was eight years old. She qualified to represent Egypt in the regional games championship, which was held in Syria, and won four medals: 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze. Rahma won first place in the Olympic swimming championships in 2010 and 2011, and the republic championship in 2010.  Rahma presented several programs on the radio, including the "Children of the Day" program on Voice of the Arabs radio, and she also presented a news bulletin for people with special needs.
