Rahma Khaled Hussein
Our second superhero is Rahma Khaled Hussein a 24 years-old young woman with Down syndrome. She is the first broadcaster with Down syndrome, it’s a dream that she pursued since she was eight. Rahma is also an Egyptian swimmer and a Paralympic champion in basketball and tennis, and swimming, she studied at Al-Alsun school for tourism and hotels. Rahma had her first championship in 2009 when she was eight years old. She qualified to represent Egypt in the regional games championship, which was held in Syria, and won four medals: 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze. Rahma won first place in the Olympic swimming championships in 2010 and 2011, and the republic championship in 2010. Rahma presented several programs on the radio, including the "Children of the Day" program on Voice of the Arabs radio, and she also presented a news bulletin for people with special needs.
